Welcoming Rainy Season

The weather here is really bad these 4 days, almost raining everyday. 3 days ago, there was an earthquake here around 1.30 AM. We live in the condominium and we could feel it clearly, i could feel my bed was shaking. We could just pray at that time because we live in 18th floor and nothing we could do. The earthquake was only a few minutes but we were terrified.

Now everything is already fine but the weather still unpredicted. Just like today, it was raining hard and windy in the morning, then stopped, raining again and it's sunny now.

Finally, it's Snoopy time. :)

A couple of weeks ago, Elaine told me that she wanted to eat Snoopy and yesterday she asked me again. I think she already longing to 'eat' her snoopy So, today i make one for her and yes..she really enjoyed her snoopy. xixixi..

Hubby's Birthday Pancakes

Today is my hubby's birthday, but right now he is in Indonesia for business trip. So i just make pancakes for him and sent him the picture. :)

Winnie The Pooh Again..

I made this bento for Elaine's schoolmate because her mom said her daughter is a picky eater lately. Hopefully after seeing this, Elaine friend's appetite will comeback again. :)

Helly...Guk..Guk..Guk..

 

Now it's Helly turn... Helly is also a title from one of Indonesian Nursery Rhymes, the song is about a girl who adores her little puppy named Helly. Nowadays, almost everyday she asked me to play the Indonesian nursery rhymes dvd and she really enjoys it. Sometimes i can hear she is trying to sing the song. Good job, Elaine!

Couple Bunnies

 

This bento was inspired by Akinoichigo's Bento book. I just traced the pattern  from the book on the parchment paper and put it on the cheese and cut it. The reason i made this bento, because Elaine really loves to sing one of Indonesian Nursery Rhymes 'Kelinciku' ( My Bunny ). She was happy when she saw her lunch and kept saying it was my bunny. :)

Today, Elaine's school invite me to do a bento workshop for the afternoon class, it was my first bento workhop and it turned out to be fun, really fun! The kids were very excited to do their lunch boxes, there was one girl kept saying that her lunch box is a beautiful garden. Some of them couldn't wait to show their 'art' work to their parents and i hope the parents will like it also. ^.^

I was surprised, because they gave me the appreciation card and it really means a lot to me.

Little Twin Star

Do you still remember Little Twin Star? It is one of my favorite Sanrio's character when i was a kid. I made Kiki and Lala from leftover flour sheet used in Boots bento. Inside the box: potato and beef in sweet soy sauce ( the potato is underneath the beef ), broccoli, cauliflower and flower carrot.

Hi..I'm Boots

Hopefully you are still remember that last month i made Dora The Explorer bento. This time i made her best friend, Boots, so she won't be alone during the adventures. :)  I used the same method to make Boots by using flour sheet. Inside the box: rice,steamed tuna with turmeric and stir fry vegetables.

Melting Elmo

 

Well...actually, i made this bento to celebrate my birthday yesterday..xixixi..Because the weather is too hot, the cheese that i used for Elmo's eyes were melted. I was supposed to change it, but i was in a hurry to pick up Elaine from her school..so, sorry for the eyes, Elmo... :D 

We went to a steak house yesterday just to have a simple family birthday celebration. :)
